ABOUT ME
Sharon Pattinson
I haven't always worked with dogs I use to be a local authority officer in Customer Services. I left this job once I had qualified as a Massage Therapist with the Canine Massage Therapy Centre and set up on my own as a dog walker and Canine Massage Therapist. Myself and my husband are owned by our Border Collies, Australian Sheepdogs and cross-breeds, they certainly keep us busy as the majority of them currently take part in various disciplines such as agility, flyball and hoopers. A couple of our older dogs are now retired from sports and are enjoying relaxing walks, free running when in open spaces as well as their weekly massages to keep them comfortable.
My time outside of work is spent with dogs and friends. I'm usually either running agility shows, competing at other shows or training at our local agility and flyball club.
I specialise in soft tissue injuries such as pulled and strained muscles and also dogs with orthopaedic conditions such as hip dysplasia. I see dogs that are struggling to jump in and out of a car; dogs that need rehabilitation after an accident or surgery; older dogs that are generally stiff; dogs that have gone lame; dogs knocking poles in agility or dogs that are just basically feeling down in the dumps.
I hold the Diploma in Canine Massage Therapy and I am;
